Paddy Hopkirk 1933 - 2022
Paddy’s spirit and principles remain with us.
Paddy was a professional racing and rally driver in the sixties and seventies. He has tasted success in many motorsport events worldwide, the most notable victory being the winner of the 1964 Monte Carlo Rally in a Mini Cooper.
He had been involved with cars and the automotive industry all of his life and spent many years in manufacturing.
He was a well-recognised spokesman for the industry.

Robin Campbell looks after both the North and South of Ireland on behalf of Hopkirks and has been in the motor industry for longer than he cares to remember. He has worked with Paddy Hopkirk since 1990. His integrity and respect from his customers is reflected in his success.
Paula has been working in the finance department for Hopkirks Ltd since 2013. She is responsible for the day to day finance activities and for producing the annual company accounts.
Paula is a CIMA qualified accountant, who worked in the IT industry and managed a finance team for over 20 years before joining in 2013. In her spare time Paula enjoys dancing, Pilates, football and reading - but not all at once!
Since graduating from Trinity College Dublin, Patrick worked in sales roles at Quaker and Castrol. Patrick then trained to be a teacher and taught Geography at St Georges College in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
He returned to the family business in 2002 and is now Sales Director of Hopkirks Ltd.
Patrick was part of the Health and Safety Executive’s Portable Petrol Container Guidance Working Group.
Patrick sits on both the Automotive Components Section and Aftermarket Committee at the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT).
Jenny Deards has been running the finance department for Hopkirks Ltd since 2007. Jenny is CIMA qualified and has been working in the accountancy profession since 2002.
Jenny's family has been in the motor industry for many years and she enjoys seeing the industry from a different angle. On the weekend she enjoys spending time with her children and dogs.
Suzie Deards works alongside Jenny, her sister, assisting with sales support and administration for Hopkirks Ltd.
Suzie is MAAT qualified (Association of Accounting Technicians) and has been working in accountancy and administration since 2007. She is looking to complete her ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) in the next year and continue expanding her knowledge of the motor industry alongside this.
